My name is Megan Long.

I am a Speech and Language Pathologist in California. I work with students daily and love my job.

I am also a wife, and mother. My two girls are both grown (mostly) and my husband and I are living the lives of empty-nesters.

I started painting a couple years ago, about when I started baking my own sourdough. I guess you can see how I became inspired to illustrate a book about a sourdough starter!

I love writing, painting, and spending time with my family. My books are filled with the charm and whimsey that our everyday lives are missing.
